It is only natural that such studies should highlight judicial activism or restraint. Restraint may be called for when there is reasonable hope that political forces may themselves find the need solution in the near future, but pursuit of this dichotomy seems fruitless beyond a point, because in spesific cases at least self-restraint could reflect political attitudes.
