Subjek Europe-Military policy
European cooperation-History-20th century
Abstrak This Book is Post-war Europe was deeply affected by both the Cold War and European integration. All too often the two processes have been studied entirely separately, however. This edited volume therefore brings together contributions from prominent historians in both of these fields. What emerges is the way in which the east-West conflict and the emergence of organised cooperations in Europe did become entangled with one another, despite the attempts of some governments deliberately to avoid any interplay between the two. It will appeal to students of Cold War History, Ruropean politics and history, and International Relations in general.
