Abstrak | The book uniquely balances theory, clinical application, and self- assessment. It is intended to provide a broad, evidence-supported approach to a family system framework, to planning contextually sensitive interventions for problem of family. This book also describe the ecological perspective to assessment-based decision making for evidence-supported interventions to meet the needs of families. In this approach no single specific model is advocated. This book assumes, also, that practitioners are motivated to use tools that are recognized as a best practice for strengthening families while supporting parents' skills and motivation for change. Evidence-supported, family centered interventions are associated with improvements in child development status, parenting skill, and family relationships as well as enhancing the interrelationships among individuals, families, and their social and environmental relationships.---It excellent resource for practitioners working with families, and a solid foundation for students in their study of families and systems |
