Abstrak This book was to examine the first one hundred years of sociological theorizing - roughly the period between 1830 and 1930. It has summarized the basic works of each theorist ideas in great detail. It is more modular, the two chapters on each theorist can stand alone, or be integrated into a set of two chapters. The main chapter on the sociology of a particular theorist can be assigned without its predecessor outlining the origin and context of the theorist's key work. It has been revised from 24 to 15 chapters, and examined the major theorists and their primary works in only seven chapters.
