Abstrak This book presents an analysis of how public power exercised for purposes of attaining sustainable development is regulated at the international level. In particular, it focus on the manner in wich partipation and accountability are regulated at the international level of decission-making. Two ideas inform the analysis conducted. Firstly, the idea that where public power is beeing exercised it desirable that those possible affected. Secondly, the idea that the exercise of public power should be subject to limitations and supervision and therefore the individuals or forums taking decisions should be accoutable.
