Abstrak This book tries to explore communicating security in civil-military relations in Israle. This phonemonon reached its its acme in the wake of Israel's dramatic victory in the 1967 Six day War. This period has been called 'the era of the generals', a 69.+ time during which the man in uniform became a full working partner with the countr's political legislators in a complex political security arrangemen whose imprint as felt in all the public arenas of israeli life. This was primalry due the fac that the army's responsibilities extended well beyond the traditional aspects of security operations and every aspect of daily life for Israeli.
