The chapters in Section I cover practitioner information and tasks related to the importance of self-understanding, major ways of perceiving self and others, and understanding professional relationships, role, ethics, and legal obligations. This text was writtrn with two main goals in mind. The first is to provide fundamental knowledge about profesional relationships. The second goal of the book is to provide students with opportunities to learn the basic practice skills necessary to work effectively with all size of client systems.
