Abstrak The final irritant that led to this book was the blatant ethnocentrism of the curators. They were strong supporters of the Japanese claims to have been victimized. However, for the vast majority of Asians who suffered under the Japanese empire-Koreans, Chinese, Fillipinos, Malays, Vietnamese, Indonesians, Thais, Pasific Islanders- at least 20,000,000 of whom died at Japanese hands, there aws not a glimmer of concern in NASM?s exhibit. As this book was process, the events of 11 September 2001 brought a new concern to the forefront of American consciousness-terorism
