Construction Contracts Dictionary is the first dictionary of construction contracts published in Asia, authored by one of the acknowledged authorities on construction law. Its coverage is extensive and falls under three main groups. The first group consist of terms and expressions encountered in the relevant statutes and standard forms as well as the terminology used by practitioners in contract document such as drawings and specifications. The second group consist of terms which feature in the law relating to contract and tort as applied to the construction industry. The third group covers technical and general terms and expressions which are frequently featured in contruction arbitration and negotiations. Footnotes have been inserted for many of the entries to facilitate reference to statutes, case law, source documents and other reference materials. It is truly a readily accessible compendium for owners, contractors and members of the construction professions who are involved in the administration of contruction contracts, in particular, architects, quantity surveyors, engineers and project managers.
