As the law on child protection has now been adopted as the law number 23 year 2002, the next step wiil be the socialization of the law to the public and to institutions working on child protection and on child rights. as we know, the process to establish a child protection institution took 13 years. therefore, the publication of this book has long been awaited by the public and those concerned with children's rights, especially as the indonesiann government has ratified in 1990 the UN convention on the rights of the child , through the presidential Decree Number 36/1990
