This book attemps to high light some of the doors opened by a degree and/ or experience in criminology and criminal justice. The book is organized into five substantive chapters, bookended with an introduction and conclusion. Each chapter covers one of primary fields within criminology and criminal justice: law enforcement, the legal profession, the public and social sectors, corrections, and alternatives to these more conventional fields. The next chapter on the legal profession, the public and social sectors, corrections, and "roads less travelled":
