In addition, the case law is updated and expanded and new social and political developments, in the part on "Civil Rights and Freedom' for example, are traced. The final part on 'Commenwealth Affairs' has also been expanded to include more material on the constitutional position of Northern Ireland. For law students of the British Consitution alike, this is the most readable work on its subject.
