=520    $$a The present volume is devoted to the reports of the first four decisions of the International Court of Justice in the case concerning Military and Paramilitary Activities in and against Nicaragua (Nicaragua v. United States): the application for interim measures of protection; the applications by EI Salvador to intervene; jurisdiction and merits. At the time of going to press, the proceedings in this case have yet to be completed but the decisions already given come to over eight hundred pages. It thus seems appropriate to publish what is already available. Any further decisions whichthe Court may give in these proceedings will, of course, be included in the International Law Reports at the earliest opportunity.
