The series is now in its second edition and contains 60 volumes. Volume 22 served the history, philosophy and works of Francois Rabelais. François Rabelais was a major French Renaissance writer, doctor and humanist. He is regarded as an avant-garde writer of fantasy, satire, the grotesque, dirty jokes and bawdy songs.
